Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust's annual community education campaign to help start thousands of safety conversations and activities UK-wide to help build confidence and skills in managing the real risks to children’s safety.

For child safety week 2025 the Medway safeguarding and Children Partnership and partners hosted four webinars that feature topics that have been highlighted from local and national reviews.  We have also featured the information that was presented on our website regarding each webinar for practitioners to have access to.

The topics that were highted:

• where does baby sleep?
• home safety and child health with babies and early years
• the impact of domestic abuse, parental vulnerabilities and the early years
• exploring vulnerabilities in pregnancy and pre-birth procedure
