Domestic Abuse Stalking and Harassment and Honour Based Violence (DASH) training
Aims: To raise awareness of the DASH system and the new risk identification and assessment toolkit.
Who the course is for:
This course is available for all practitioners from all Medway agencies and organisations but must have attended Domestic Abuse Training.
Cost: Free for all organisations.
Course objectives
By the end of the course participants will:
- understand the DASH (2009) Risk Identification, Assessment and Management Model and how to use it
- recognise professional roles and responsibilities in relation to risk identification and management
- understand how this relates to the risk management including MARAC/MAPPA (multi agency risk assessment conference)
- understand the responsibility in relation to: risk identification, assessment and management and the DASH process
- understand the importance of an accurate risk identification and assessment identify high risk for serious harm and homicide
- will be able to refer matters to MARAC (multi agency risk assessment conference) using the same risk identification model as all other agencies.

Parking
Unfortunately, parking is not available to delegates at Gun Wharf. However, parking is available within a short walk. Lunch is not provided but delegates are welcome to use the on-site café facilities.
Cancellation policy
Places on MSCP courses are limited. If you can’t attend a course for any reason you must tell us at least 5 working days before the course date.
Tell us be emailing mscptraining@medway.gov.uk or by giving written notification. If you fail to tell the MSCP, a cancellation charge of £100 may apply.
