Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC)

Beech House SARC offers a comprehensive, free service, support and practical help to any child or adult in Kent and Medway ​who has experienced sexual violence and/or sexual abuse. The Centre is managed by Katy Cawkwell, who is supported by a team of specially trained workers.  This guidance tells all professionals what to expect should they make a referral to SARC, how a referral is made, what to expect following a referral, and what services are available.

Appointments can be made via the SARC appointments page where you will find contact details and information about the best way to make an appointment.  Any medical or emergency needs should be addressed before the SARC appointment.

SARC provide a number of after care services and can advise about further helpful resources that are available.

SARC supports children and adults of any gender and aims to increase support for males as they are under-represented, SARC therefore also offers male-specific support male sexual assault support (MSAS) for boys and men.
