The Kent and Medway Gangs Strategy 2022 - 2024 is the multi-agency commitment to tackle gangs operating across Kent and Medway and to support those affected by gangs and gang-related crime.

It underscores our dedication to forging a truly joined-up response to gangs and the prioritisation of this issue across the partnership.

Since the first Kent and Medway Gangs Strategy was created in 2018, we have seen significant improvements in how agencies work together to tackle gangs. We have become better at sharing information and there has been an increase in the resources available to tackle gangs.

The strategy sets out our approach to building on the progress, and how we will tackle gang crime and ensure community safety. It outlines where we are now and where we want to be in the future in order to better lead, plan, commission and deliver services across our partnership.
