Learning lessons from multi agency reviews and Serious Case Reviews

The MSCP is responsible for leading multi agency reviews on identified themes. MSCP is also responsible for completing learning lesson reviews and serious case reviews on cases referred to them or meeting national statutory thresholds.

Learning has been demonstrated across all services in Medway around topics such as neglect, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, working with families with complex needs and children with complex health needs.

This is from the latest cases so will cover learning not previously identified in past learning sessions

Who the course is for:

All practitioners from all Medway agencies and organisations.

Course objectives

These sessions are designed to share the learning from current, as well as historical reviews, so professionals can reflect on their own practice in light of the review findings.

Training dates and times

  • Wednesday 22 May 2019 from 9.30am to 12noon at Gun Wharf, Chatham
  • Thursday 18 July 2019 from 9.30am to 12noon at Gun Wharf, Chatham

Parking

Unfortunately, parking is not available to delegates at Gun Wharf. However parking is available within a short walk. Lunch is not provided but delegates are welcome to use the on-site café facilities. 

Cancellation policy

Places on MSCP courses are limited. If you can’t attend a course for any reason you must tell us at least 5 working days before the course date.

Tell us be emailing mscptraining@medway.gov.uk or by giving written notification. If you fail to tell the MSCP, a cancellation charge of £100 may apply.
