Whole School Safeguarding and Child Protection training

Please note: This training is for education provisions, delegates attending as designated leads must be a senior member of staff within the provision (staff will be contacted regarding application forms that cannot be processed).

All school and college staff should have appropriate child protection training which is regularly updated.

The Education Safeguarding Coordinator has produced an updated whole school training pack for use with teachers, home school support workers, teaching assistants and other school personnel.

This training is for the Designated Safeguarding Lead of the school, the individual is being offered the opportunity to attend a 2 hour briefing to discuss the updated training package.

Once the briefing is completed, a full version of the training package will be sent to school staff.

Who the course is for

This training is for education provisions and delegates attending as designated leads must be a senior member of staff within the provision (staff will be contacted regarding application forms that cannot be processed).

This is not a training session for all school staff and is specifically a briefing to identify the updated points within the training package.

Cost: One free place for LA school, otherwise £100 per delegate

  • Wednesday 9th October 2019 from 3.00pm to 5.00pm at Gun Wharf, Chatham
