DASH Training (Domestic abuse stalking and harassment risk assessment)

This session will improve confidence and build the relevant skills amongst professionals to effectively complete the DASH, as a risk assessment tool in cases of domestic abuse.  

Objectives and content

  • To understand the DASH (2009) Risk Identification, Assessment and Management Model and how to use it.
  • To enable participants to recognise professional roles and responsibilities in relation to risk identification and management.
  • To enable participants to use the risk identification process and to identify high risk for serious harm and homicide.
  • To understand how this relates to the risk management including MARAC/MAPPA.

All front-line professionals are welcome to attend as long as they have completed basic Domestic Abuse training.
